After a long and most likely over dramatic (on my part) wait. We will have a new Coppola film for the summer.
The Beguiled is a remake of the 1971 film.
We know. “Hollywood has no original ideas; blah, blah, (hipster elitist rant), blah”. I personally am very excited to see Sofia tackle a gothic piece like this.
She is a very talented film maker with her visual, set design and trademark breathtaking lighting but this project will combine that with a stimulating and tense plot. That has been one of her weaker areas. The cast alone is #goals; Dunst, Kidman, Fanning and Farrell.
